Spicy Steamed Corn

Spicy Steamed Corn

You need:

2 corn cobs
1 tbsp grated fresh ginger
1/2 tsp chopped fresh red chilli
1 tbsp water

What to do:

1. Remove the husks and silk from the corn cobs.
2. In a bowl, combine the ginger, garlic, chilli, and water.
3. Roll each cob in the spice mixture and place in a steaming basket lined with baking paper.
4. Place the basket over a wok or pan of boiling water, cover and steam for 10-20 minutes, or until corn is tender.

reminds me of that little market right outside of st martin's in trafalgar square! and the time that we ate it during the chinese new year parade! i'm going to try to make that as well :) em
